Suppose that a stubborn kid has decided to join a football team. In the beginning, he will act like an overconfident teenager. But it is totally okay for a child to behave in such a manner. Every stubborn kid thinks that he or she is special than everyone and should be the best player in a team sport. This will clearly show the lack of complacency in a kid. However, after few games rip apart his or her attitudes, they will begin to accept status up and status down as well. At first, these status downs will cause a teenager to cry. But with subsequent practices, they will learn how to tolerate wins as well as loses. And eventually, even the most stubborn kid in the team will discover that it is not essential who’s the top dog in the group. In the end, the team win is what all matters.

As teenagers, it is a common thing for them to form a group as in-groups. And the in-group members will feel proud about themselves showing an aggressive attitude towards out-groups. This in-group will possess a unique set of culture, traditions, inside jokes, and values. These attributes also help a team to differentiate themselves from other teams. As a result, the final result will be a cold war between us vs. them. So, during any kind of a team sport, teenagers will keep their individual differences aside and work as a group to compete with the opponent team. With time, every teenager will learn if they don’t work as a group the whole team will lose. For a team to win, they should always work and concretely cooperate with each other. A team will only succeed if and only if they work in such a solely manner.

Myth or not there’s a fact among the society that females are better than male in cooperation. However, the truth is not yet scientifically proved. But there’s no need for any scientific proof to verify how uncooperative teenagers can be. And the perfect solution will be a team sport. For a millennium humans have survived as groups by having ideal cooperation among each other. The same cooperation is needed in a team sport to succeed. Each team member should keep their team ahead of them. For instance, a teenager will be cooperative enough to pass a ball to a player instead of making a shot in football. So that they can learn how awsome cooperation can work among each other.
